Your checklist when spending long days in the sun

We know the Australian sun is strong and it doesn't take long at all to damage and burn your skin.

Coming into summer we know that things pop up where there's a good chance you're going to get stuck in the sun. Maybe it's a boat party, a day at the beach, a BBQ by the pool, a day in the park.

Here's our check list for those long days in the sun and how to be prepared to best take care of your skin and body!

In my cute tote bag I always make sure I have:
✓ My wide brim bucket hat or peak (when playing sport).
✓ My Mesoestetic Melan130 SPF for reapplying every 2hrs - This is an absolute fav as it’s tinted so lightly hides imperfections and I don’t have to worry about reapplying over makeup!
✓ 2L water bottle to not only keep me hydrated, but my skin too! I take a 500ml out when playing sport.
✓ I put a sarong or something light over my shoulders when out and about for long extended periods of time to prevent sun damage on my shoulders, chest and back.
✓ Aloe Vera!!! If I do get burnt I make sure that I’m prepped and ready to take down the redness and inflammation.

Nobody wants premature aging caused from the suns UV rays ;)

And finally!

✓ Most importantly - Never leave home with out a smile knowing I’m looking after my skin and body!
