Needling creates micro channels in the skin, which causes a controlled injury and triggers the body to naturally heal and produce new collagen and elastin.
The fine, medical-grade needles reach the deep dermis to stimulate collagen production and accelerate cell turnover. These punctures trigger the body to naturally heal and fill the micro-wounds with new collagen and elastin. Blood supply improves greatly as new capillaries form.
While you may feel pressure or a sensation similar to scratching during your procedure, you shouldn't experience any actual discomfort.
Everybody’s needs are different. Generally speaking, most people require 4 to 6 sessions for permanent collagen induction with sessions 4 weeks apart. We recommend regular maintenance sessions after your initial course to improve and maintain results.
The day of the treatment your skin appears slightly pink, similar to that of mild sunburn. This will subside within 24-48 hours. You will notice the best skin results one week post treatment, with results continuing to improve week after week.
